Marilyn Brush
Written by: Christine Coviello

A step above other hairbrushes.

I blow my hair straight just about every morning. It is a constant battle with my brush, the blow dryer and me. We fight to pull every curl straight by the time I have to leave for work. It isn't pretty. So whenever I see a new product to help this process, I jump at the chance. I have tried every styling tool, comb, brush or straightener. I was convinced that the hairdresser knew some secret that I obviously didn't know.

Well, the secret is out! I tried "The Marilyn Brush" this past weekend. There is no need to go back to the salon for a blow out again, when I can get the same results at home. I was shocked, it wasn't bulky, and it was light and easy to hold. The hourglass shape of the barrel fit to my head and didn't hurt. It felt like the kind of brush that the professional hairdresser used ,and the hair was pulled tighter around the brush, which helped my hair blow straighter. My hair didn't slip out, and because it worked so well the first time on each section of hair, I spent less time blow-drying. This was great because not only was it less damaging for my hair, but now I think I can get to work on time! I would recommend this brush to anyone who straightens his or her hair.

The Marilyn Brush comes in lots of colors and styles like animal prints, or different themed patterns like southwest. No matter which style you choose you can be sure it works. This brush retails for about $15.
