The love of my life(beside my husband, of course) is furry, aloof, independent, and often lazy, but I love him anyway. I'm talking about my lovable cat, Leo. I recently got the Drinkwell Pet Fountain for Leo, created by Veterinary Ventures. This is a unique drinking fountain, that constantly flows providing a steady stream of fresh filtered water, from a backup water storage unit.
At first, Leo, who was used to drinking from a standard pet bowl, sniffed around the unit and walked away, but after a while he was intrigued.I especially loved that I could leave the replenished water supply for my cat when I was at work all day, or even away on vacation.
Since the base is heavier than Leo's old bowl, it prevented him from swatting around his water and causing a mini puddle in the kitchen, which in turn also left him without water for the day.
