We all know the story about the infamous video game SimCity. It's now had dozens of variants, spinoffs, and other titles. We know how it's played and the basic premise. You are in charge of your city, and your decisions will help it become a success or a failure. That's the premise.

What's different here? Everything and nothing. You can play Sim City 4 just like the other Sim City games, or you can take it to an entirely different level.

For example, you can build your city by the San Francisco Bay. Simple concept... however, they allow you to build dozens of miniature cities and connect them all... thereby creating massive metropolitan areas. Your success and failure now depends upon the success and failure of your other cities.

Also, the attention to meticulous detail is simply intense. You can watch individual Sims go to work, get a job, and basically, you can completely interact with them. In addition, The Deluxe Addition comes with "Rush Hour". You can now, jump in a car, board your plane, or your helicopter and fly around your city. You can take the path of good, and help your city... or the path of evil and earn money by helping crime.

If you're a fan of Sim City, this will completely take you to the next step of interaction. With Sim City 4, Maxis has created an even more elaborate world that you can play with for hours.
