Fugitive Hunter - Encore Games - PS2
Written by: Michael Mardings
Here's your chance to get Osama Bin Laden.
Game creator, John Botti, said, "I created Fugitive Hunter: War on Terror
to evoke a strong visceral reaction in those who play it." I can stop the
story there.
He has succeeded.
But why? Because of all of the games I've ever played, this has evoked one
of the strongest reactions that I've ever imagined a game could create.
Not that the game is overly real, or overly gory, it's simply the concept.
You seek out and capture or kill Al Qaeda and other terrorists. It's a game
with a mission and a game with a moral concept. At times it reverts to
traditional "shoot-'em-up" or "fighting" games, but it's the overall
concept of literally going into drug dens in L.A. and caves in Afghanistan
to root out evil.
This is not a game for those weak at heart, but it is the type of game for
those who are angry at terrorism and feel that our government isn't doing
enough. Now you can make up for that difference.
