Jabra Freespeak Headset
Written by: Michael Mardings
A wireless headset for your wireless phone!
It's a simple headphone that looks like a banana. But what the hell does it do? Quite simply, it comes in Bluetooth mode and not, it's a headphone that doesn't require a cord. You charge the headphone every night and then you have an hour or so of digital talk time. It's lightweight, cute and stylish.
What are the pros?
Pro number one: It's lightweight and not bulky. MUCH better than the AT&T operator headphones that wrap around my skull and to the phone.
Pro number two: You can walk 30 feet away from your phone. It's great for pumping gas and leaving the phone in the car. In a way, it makes your mobile phone a little more mobile.
And the cons?
Well, it retails a bit more than the average headset, so it's the type of device that you'd use only if you're the type who really uses a phone.
The other con is that if you're the type to use a phone a lot, the headphone also needs to be charged. You now have two things to recharge.
Overall?
It is stylish, hip and easy to use, just be careful of that
