Wear this shirt and the bugs won't get you. Add a hat and
pants and neither will the cops.
Ex Officio has come up with
an idea that fits: clothes that repel insects but not the opposite sex. The secret is that the repellent is attached to the
material.
After several years of traveling, I noticed that
if I stood next to a light haired person, mosquitoes would
bite them, and not me. It made for some boring
conversations, but it slowed down the scratching. I have
even used 100% DEET repellents and felt the sudden
uncomfortable heat and feel of application.
Forget the
mechanics of how the clothes work, just note that that they
do. I wore this shirt for a weekend camping trip and came
back with my skin free of bug bites. I was afraid to take
off the shirt.
The company says that it will work through 25 washings. 25
washings? I don't care! I won't wash it. Ok, maybe a quick
rinse after a sweaty day. But this shirt works for me!!!
Shirts, pants, hats, socks, bandanas, and zip hoods. They
have enough clothes and styles to starve any bug.
