Norelco Cool Skin
Written by: Michael Mardings
An easy and cool shave.
Being completely cheap means I do not like to waste money. That said, I actually got rid of my brand new electric razor for the Norelco Cool Skin. The premise is that it's a wet/dry shaver that makes it really useful for a quick shave in the shower, but it also has this Nivea dispenser that releases shaving gel right from the razor. Okay, it's gimmicky because you really have to be a special sort of lazy person to not have the energy to reach towards the shaving gel; however, that said, I fell for it. I fell in love with it more for it's wet/dry feature, but the shaving gel wasn't so bad.
Now for the unbiased bad-side, the gel takes the place of the all-important trimmer. How will I ever get those perfect side-burns? After awhile, I got used to shaving without the trimmer, but I did want to give you both sides of the story. Also, it's waterproof, but don't dunk it in water. Okay, that was a stretch, but I wanted to seem balanced.
Overall, the Norelco Cool Skin is a great razor for those with sensitive skin who are interested in a smooth shave. Some people like it because it's blue, but I like shaving in the shower with the gel right there.
