Clear Flow Filters
While water was once a free commodity, the market seems to have changed to make it the newest commodity. Actually, when I checked online, water prices are roughly even with the price of gasoline, and that's if you buy it cheaply in one big container. If you buy multiple 16 ounce bottles the price soars. The alternative is to use a filter at home which leaves you with has the advantage of price, but the disadvantage of speed. You have to fill up the container and then wait for it to drip a lot.Clear Flow has created a line of disposable filter heads which snap onto your faucet and in about a year they flash a red line meaning they need to be replaced. Of course the advantage is that they're right there. You can also switch between filtered and unfiltered mode which is usual for avoiding washing the dishes with the more expensive water. In addition, they have a bathroom faucet version which has a little water fountain for the kids. They just tap on the faucet and the water shoots out just like in the park's water fountain. The bathroom faucet version took me a few more minutes to set up as it needed an adapter, but after that it was working fine. Eventually I found myself running to the bathroom to refill my glass. All this said, to me there are two clear advantages to products such as Clear Flow. You can get water for a reasonable price as opposed to the price of gasoline. And secondly with the Clear Flow faucets you can snap it right on and have the water filter immediately there.
