Union Tools new products
Written by: Michael Mardings
Why do we add the letter 'n' to tool names?
Union Tools has now succumbed to the pressure of the marketing world and has included the letter N within the names of the product. In this case, their addition to the standard tool was pretty good.
First is the Wet N Dry Leaf rake. It's a simple concept, but effective. Simply enough, the rake is a massive rake with a big plastic head. This head has an overlay that can be slid back and forth, locking the tongues in place or loosening them. Loose is for dry leaves and rigid is for wet leaves.
The Stow N Go is basically a wheelbarrow with the added function, in that it disassembles into two pieces from one. The barrel part separates from the wheel part.
Yes, those descriptions are simple, but I think that's the point of these tools: simplicity. No matter how you slice it, it would be hard to review a rake, or a wheelbarrow or a shovel or a spade. Union Tools makes all of these types of tools, but now, like my childhood toys, they've added a few extra features that allow them to transform into something else. Now my neighbors will understand why I was in my backyard joyously transforming from wet to dry mode on my rake.
