Looking for Something Different to Drink?

POM Wonderful is the producer of POM Wonderful all natural pomegranate juice. It is not only called wonderful because it tastes good but because it is actually made from the Wonderful variety of pomegranates.
Why drink pomegranate juice you might ask. Pomegranate juice is higher in antioxidants than most other juices as well as red wine and green tea. It is also heart healthy. POM Wonderful makes five different flavors of juice: 100 percent POM, POM Cherry, POM Mango, POM Tangerine and POM Blueberry.
The POM tangerine was a staff favorite with just a subtle hint of tangerine. POM juice is also becoming popular as an ingredient in mixed drinks such as the POMtini, which was the official cocktail at the 2004 Emmy Awards. POM Wonderful juice can be used in cooking as well. I tried the POM vinaigrette and it was wonderful on arugula and mixed greens.
The IZZE Beverage Company produces a Sparkling Juice made of 100 percent fruit juice and sparkling water. Because of its high fruit juice content, each bottle is equivalent to a serving of fruit based on USDA guidelines. It is free of added sweeteners, artificial ingredients and caffeine. It is available in six different flavors: Sparkling Blackberry, Sparkling Blueberry, Sparkling Clementine, Sparkling Grapefruit, Sparkling Lemon and Sparkling Pear. Our staff tried all the flavors and there was no clear favorite - they were all good. All of the flavors had a clean and refreshing taste.
The Sparkling Blackberry tasted a bit like black cherry soda to some and the Sparkling Lemon was a nice combination of tart and sweet. It comes in glass bottles as well as mini-soda cans so they fit in a lunch box.
This is a great way to please soda lovers, especially kids, who want to have healthier diets.
