Ajune is a medical day spa located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. As far as I am concerned it is an oasis in a very large bustling city. As soon as you walk in you are in a more relaxed state. The aromas and the décor are serene and comfortable. Fresh fruit, juices and teas await you while you wait for your treatment. I had their Signature R & R Treatment which literally pampered me from head to toe. The 90 minute treatment included a scalp massage, a body massage and a foot scrub and massage. Ajune also carries a wide variety of skincare products including all natural, preservative free products.
As I mentioned earlier Ajune is a medical day spa. The founder and medical director is Mauro C. Romita, M.D., a board certified plastic surgeon, who has tailored the services at Ajune to include a comprehensive list of holistic treatments that not only deal with aesthetics but clinical issues as well. This enables clients to get the most complete care in one location. Ajune offers everything from botox injections, to medical microdermabrasion, facials, massages and body wraps.
