Spring Cleaning Products

Spring is in the air and so are the smells of household cleaners!
It's that time of year again to do those dreaded spring cleaning chores. We at TheCelebrityCafe.com found some products to make your job a little easier.
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Duo
Ok it works! Here is the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser's two sided friend. The white side is just like the original Magic Eraser and the blue side can be used to wipe up messes and also let you hold onto the Eraser better. The typical household sponge contains a million germs and you have to add soap to it to clean, but to the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Duo, just add water and scrub. It has a mild abrasive that cleans heavy duty stains like crayon marks. It also works great on bathroom soap scum.

Scotch-Brite Products
I hate cleaning the bathroom. I even did the annual cleaning in January with the windows open to freeze whatever was moving behind the toilet. I figure someday there will be self-cleaning products and I'll just have to wait for them to appear. Scotch-Brite has come up with products to make my annual job easier so that I may even do it twice a year. The Bathroom Floor Cleaner starter pack contains a special heart shaped mop like long handle thingy with a wet cleaning cover that keeps me away from anything that could attack me. The pack makes a big deal about the "hair-grabbing ridges" on the pad and I tested it to exhaustion. The Tub and Tile Scrubber Starter Pack has an extendable tool to do the tub and walls. Just put on the cleaning pad, wet it and do an easy "sweep" of the walls. The last product is a Carpet Touch-Up Roller. The wife kept emphasizing the word touch-up since she wasn't giving me credit for a full cleaning. Again there is a long handle tool, in this case a roller, with adhesive sheets that wrap around the roller for running across the floor and picking up pet hair, dust, loose dirt and anything else in it way. I did one run in back of the TV and picked up so much hair I though the cat was stuck in it. No screaming, no pain, no cat. Remember that these are starter kits for the between semi-annual cleaning jobs.
Clorox Bleach Pen
The Bleach Pen is more powerful than bleach sticks typically available. I like the clean up it does on the countertop stains. The "gelled" Clorox bleach does the job right. Daub it on the stain; let it stand for a few minutes then clean it off. The stain is gone. This is more convenient then lugging the big jug to clean up a small stain. In fact it avoids the overspill that always happens. Many of the ads say it is great for decoration and it is, but for practical use in spot clean ups, it can't be beat.
Scotchgard Cleaning Products
It's a dream to be clean when others are dirty. Scotchgard products have a way to avoid the long clean up after a party. The OXY Spot & Stain Cleaner takes a few squirts to clean up a few squirts.

Scotchgard Ultra Water Repellent with Mildew Block is a great product. I have used it for camping, before I go out into the woods I apply it to the tents. In fact my wife gets mad because I warm the hiking boots in the oven and then apply it. Sometimes I think that the best thing that has come out of the oven are my boots.
On the label for the Scotchgard Leather protector it says that the product is good to restore the shine to shoes, coats, boots, and also for shiny leather garments. I think it will also be perfect to maintain my chaps and straps collection.
My friend Murray really can't afford those fancy stain resistant big buck shirts and at his age he is always dropping things from his mouth when he talks. You know the type: eating a tuna fish sandwich while talking on the phone. I suggested that he use the Fabric Protector for upholstery and clothing to give him a nice look between meals. He did and he does. Oh by the way his chairs look good too. Now I can't stop that shaky finger slob from spraying the whole damn house!
