For some the following article may not be to their taste or lifestyle, for others it will be an adventure in imbibing.

If you choose to take the challenge, join us on this adventure. Don't be afraid, the regular rules of caution apply. We have told you of our experience, tell us of yours.

French Rabbit Wines

The trick here is not to puncture the container: Wine in a "Tetra Prisma" box. It's like an adult juice box with extra servings of wine. In fact there are almost two extra servings in each container. With no cork there is no taint possibility and the wine can be stored in the original container when the air is squeezed out. Not bad! Ecological considerations in the packaging and palate pleasure in the wine. Yes, it's imported from France where winemaking is both a lifestyle and national pride. At the present, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are available in the easy-to-cool soft-sided box. It’s nice to see a good idea get to market and even better when there are more wine varieties to come.

Jose Cuervo Flavored Tequilas

Jose Cuervo International has come up with a new idea: flavored tequilas. Citrico, Oranjo and Tropina, the taste and essence of the good times you experienced on your last trip to the islands comes once again to relax and soothe the palate. Stay home tonight with a loved one, sit in a darkened room, listen to soft music, just the two of you, sip, oh so gently from the glass and talk in hushed tones. Romance and Cuervo are natural friends. Enjoy the snuggling, work is a day away and soon then another weekend is yours.

La Certeza Tequila

Take a drink, experience the consistent quality in production from the agave plant to the tequila. In one sip taste and feel the essence Mexico. In just one sip, all the culture, architecture, religion, joy and pain of maturity are evident. In just one sip! Estate grown, prime agave plants are nurtured to produce the best of the best taste in the tequila process. In the hands of the master tequilero, over 200 years of magic is performed and Reprosado is yours: a whisper of vanilla and butterscotch. Glass to the lips, let it flow, smooth… in just one sip.

Leblon Cachaca

Brazilian rum made from sugar cane and aged in cognac casks. It is used in making the national drink, caipirinha. Both the bottle and taste are unique. Saying any other word would water down the effect. This rum drink is top quality all the way with an international flare. For a second hit, visit the Web site where the background history can be found and where it is revealed the entrepreneurial exhilaration of inventing something truly new. When going to a bar I've noticed that there is a group who always go the "old fashioned" mixed drink style. They think the ideas are new but they are not. Leblon is really new. Maybe they are scared of the "really" new.

Ballatore Rosso Red Spumante
Ballatore Gran Spumante

To speak the truth, the Gran Spumante bottle looks like a pirate out on a date, putting up with the formal wear but not wanting to be noticed but the Rosso Red looks like his highly paid escort with the red of passion and control. Deeply colorful labels only enhance the spumante within. Tonight is special, start out special. Open slowly, pour lovingly, fondle the glass and sip…so gentile that the glass does not know it is being emptied. They're telling me that tonight is special and extremely private. That's what I'm telling you. Do I have to say more or does this wine say it all?

Barefoot Wines

For a gentle introduction to wines, Barefoot eases into the room then slowly takes over. Obviously the name gets the attention, a slight chuckle, or maybe a knowing nod and then it stands alone: the taste, the bouquet, and the enjoyment of love over lust. The winery produces a range of products with 17 varietals and blends; however a new Pinot Grigio draws all that experience into one bottle: your bottle. You can taste California, the layback life and maybe even sense the surf…but…it gets the job done.

Phillips Union Whiskey

This is a whiskey with a business history. In 1912 the Phillips Company started as a candy distributing company and, when prohibition ended, they used that distribution system to sell whiskey but all the time keeping in touch with consumer's taste. When the market demanded a less harsh whiskey they responded and learned to mix Kentucky Bourbon with a Canadian Whiskey so as to give the heat without burning the furnace. When the market wanted a light "fun" whiskey to use in mixed drinks, Phillips produced the Cherry flavored Whiskey and the Vanilla flavored Whiskey. Phillips Union has produced not merely a drink but a business textbook! Take a sip, but take it slow. Knowledge and liquor go to the same spot.

UV Vodkas

UV Vodka colors and flavors: I can see in the Old West, some bandit enters a tavern saunters up to the bar, places their foot on the rail and says, in a dusty low voice, "I'll have the UV Cherry Bomb”…neat. The red is deep my dear, like the color on your lips or the flush of your face when I whispered, I love you. Perhaps you like the UV Blue like the color of your fingers when you wear the tight dress, tighter and the short dress shorter. With the clarity of intention, you're ready for the UV clear. It has been distilled four times and I am ready. I would have been ready sooner but your mother never left us alone.

267 Infusions

Ultra-Premium Spirits for the ultra premium spirit. Set free, desire for the instance of something new, for in a split second it will be old and yesterday's news is tomorrow's fodder. Tequila Infusion Orange or Rum Infusion Mango, both are a unique taste that allow the mouth to tell the brain that something different has arrived so let's open the hose and let the water flow.

Vodka Infusion Cranberry and Vodka Infusion Olives and Pearl Onions, the twins have arrived. One is playful, the circus boy, the other businesslike and efficient.

Redcliff America's Liqueur

I gave this drink a shot just because I was intrigued by the "America's Liqueur" moniker and the hint of a cola taste led me on. Yes it was there, and yes it is designed and made in America. It fits my taste but I have done a lot of taste-research and I want to know just what the 15 secret ingredients are? Gunpowder? Radiator hooch? Boiled mule fat? Whatever it is, it set my mind wandering to the old days of nickel beers and I had $1 to spend.

Caravella Limoncello

The most popular drink in Italy comes to America and it’s used almost everywhere: cakes, salads, pies, tarts and also served straight chilled. The bottle says it contains the taste of Rome, the excitement of Venice and the beauty of Florence. I have been in all three places and this is pretty close. After drinking awhile, the bottle looks like the girls of Rome, Venice and Florence, only the girls had softer skin. I suppose the most wonderful recipe is Limoncello Sorbet: refreshing and cool. If only Alice served this instead of those brownies.
