Thrillville
Written by: Sari Kent
Thillville adds more to your average amusement park video game.
On Nov. 21, 2006, LucasArts and Frontier Developers released "Thrillville," another amusement park making video game, some might say, but this video game has some features the other Sims-like games don't have.
The game offers a fully interactive and customizable amusement park in which you can build and ride roller coasters and more than 100 other attractions. You also have to take care of park guests, but you'll be able to unwind with dozens of minigames. The game is available on PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Xbox.
This game lets users create roller coasters from scratch and build an amusement park that will thrill and excite any visitor, no matter what their thrill seeking preference. If you are new to this type of game, a group of tutorials opens the game and acquaints you with essentials, like park management, and the business side of running an amusement park. It also goes over other fundamentals such as concession stands, and making sure that your staff is competent to ensure that your visitors are happy and satisfied with their park experience.
Besides building roller coasters and thrill rides, the game also sports go-cart tracks, mini golf and bumper cars. "Thrillville" also allows players to talk to its park's visitors and get their feedback so they can build an amusement park that meets everyone's expectations. "Thrillville" is definitely a fun time that will be had by anyone who plays it.
