Okay, this is original: the baby holds on to a ring, which vibrates in the child's mouth. This soothes the gums, amuses the child, and the parents can get some sleep. For extra relief the ring can be refrigerated, although not while it is in the child's mouth. The babies I've asked have not given an opinion beyond a gurgle, but the idea seems sound and the vibrating thing is unusual enough to startle the baby into silence. Just don't abuse a good thing. This is not a babysitter.

A super practical idea for taking the baby to the beach or pool, but as the website mentions, it is also a way to hold the baby securely while doing other things at the beach. So what we have here is a baby carrier that can get wet and still hold the baby. It comes in various sizes, so pick the most appropriate for the adult and then adjust it to the baby. It comes with an open mesh drawstring carrying case that lets it air dry.
Kee-ka Organic Clothing
These clothes are the softest and the cutest, besides being organic. Bodysuits as well as matching bibs and burp clothes come with different designs such as peanut and pumpkin. You can purchase pieces separately or buy a gift set including all three, which comes packaged very creatively in a brown box. If that isn't enough for your coordinated baby, they also have blankets. BOB connects to a variety of electronics, including televisions, video game stations and computers, and sets time limits for usage. Children hate it, but parents love it. Parents can set up accounts for up to seven users and customize the time limits. It can also block usage certain times of the day, like right after school or homework time. The best thing about BOB is that it is very easy to use. You plug your electronic in and BOB locks it in with a key - totally tamper proof unless your kid can pick a lock - then you have worse trouble than worrying about TV time!

Mud Pie makes some of the cutest and most unique clothing for babies. Some of our favorite products include the C.E.O. line for boys. C.E.O. stands for Chief Executive Offspring, in case you didn't know. Mud Pie makes three bibs that look very business like. One looks like a polo shirt - white with a blue collar. The other two bibs resemble a shirt and tie - very cute. Each bib has embroidered on it C.E.O. Mud Pie also makes a variety of onesies, including an adorable bright pink and green one with a bow, stating "hitting the bottle again." Mud Pie is sold at a variety of online stores, as well as retail shops nationwide.
KooKoo Bear Kids
KooKoo Bear Kids carries a wide range of designer furniture, décor, and clothing to furnish your child's room. Some of their exclusive items are their booties and slippers. My favorite is the KooKoo Bear Zipper Bootie which comes in blue, brown, and pink. They are so easy to put on a baby because they zipper on from bottom to side. Anyone who has experience with infants can tell you that putting shoes on little, squirmy feet is not that easy. The Slip-On Booties are made of butter soft leather and have an elastic ankle so they stay put. I like the pink sun on light green shoe - very cute!

This is some of the cutest software I've seen. It is tailored for children 6-24 months of age. I like it because it keeps my daughter entertained. She loves to bang on my keyboard during the most inopportune moments. Now she can bang away and not erase half my documents. Some of the software is bilingual Spanish and English. The Giggles Software includes a variety of basic concepts such as animal friends, numbers, letters, and shapes. I think Giggles Software is an excellent way of introducing your child to the world of computers - never too early to start.
Clean Air Odor Free Diaper Disposal
There are many diaper disposal systems out there, but this one has some extra features. Notable, it has its own built in air cleaner. Take it from me, cute, adorable, little babies make ugly, big, stinky poops! This disposal system is made for those parents with very sensitive noses. It uses regular tall kitchen bags and is very effective at eliminating odors. The only downfall is that it needs 4 "D" batteries to operate and you need to replace the filter periodically.
