DM) Whose idea was it to do a video game?
MK&AO) We both thought it was a good idea. We love video games, and Acclaim gave us the perfect opportunity, so we took it.
DM) How much involvement did you have in this game?
MK&AO) We are pretty much involved in the whole process. We were shown the game in different stages, and we gave our input--what we liked, and what we didn't like about it.
DM) Are you working on more videogames with Acclaim?
MK&AO) Yes. Our new Gameboy color game, "The New Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley" will be coming out this May; and our first Playstation game, "Magical Mystery Mall" will be out next fall. We're really excited about that!
DM) Which of you (Mary Kate or Ashley) are more interested in videogames and computers?
MK&AO) We both are interested equally I think. We do a lot for our website -- marykateandashley.com, so that's keeps us pretty active on the net.
DM) You've been involved in movies, books, and now videogames about mysteries... what started your interest in mysteries?
MK&AO) We've always been fans of a good mystery; we think all kids are, and there weren't any good mysteries out there these days for kids, so that's why we decided to do them.
DM) For such a young age, you've done a lot in the entertainment business. What do you hope to do in the future?
MK&AO) We really love acting. But, maybe in the future, a little more behind-the-camera work. We are getting a taste of that now with producing and it's fun, but it's hard work!
DM) Do you hope to have a television series again like "Full House?"
MK&AO) Maybe some day; anything's possible, but for right now, we're having fun doing movies.
DM) What are some of the basic differences in personalities between the two of you?
MK&AO) Well, there are many differences. We each have our own "likes" and "dislikes" like any sisters would, but the basic difference... Probably that Mary-Kate loves to ride horses, and I love to dance more.
DM) With books, music and games, how do you handle it all?
MK&AO) It's hard sometimes, but we only do what we want to do, so this is what we want. When you want to do certain things, you manage to fit them in.
DM) Do you both get along as well off-screen as you seem to do on-screen?
MK&AO) Yes. We get along really well, but TV and film aren't reality. We're best friends, but we do have our fights!
