Cult: Live in L.A., The
Manny Rodriguez's direction of The Cult's concert was slick, fun, and it
captured the anticipation of the fans, which makes it even more alive as it
shows the true devotion of the group's following. An arena filled with
adrenaline, pumped up with pure emotion and serving a platter of music
fueled with passion, Los Angeles was the place to be and a part of The
Cult's concert extravaganza! Including before and after scenes of the band
and fans, The Cult's rockumentary was a creative, sentimental, and
informative success that added a great sizzle to the concert as a whole.
Watching the crowd eagerly await their first glimpse, while relating to the
songs with intensiveness and participation (including the famous Mosh Pit
gathering and an unexpected fan who leaped onto the stage and did a flying
head first dive back into it), makes this a sure-fire sign the concert
began in rocking format! It's great to be able to listen and watch a band
bring classic songs to life in front of an admiring crowd as they bring
excitement and a feeling of satisfaction.
My personal likes include: "Star" (my all-time favorite), "She sells
Sanctuary" (my second all-time favorite), "Rain," "Edie (Ciao Baby)," "Wild
Flower," "Sweet Soul Sister," and "True Believers." Driven, powerful, and
spiritual are The Cult and they put on a dynamic show! It's more than just
enjoying the music; it's about celebrating it! There's a pretty famous
actor who makes an appearance near the end. Hey, actors enjoy music, too!
