Da Vinci Code Decoded
A must have for any Da Vinci Code fan.
The brilliance of the Da Vinci code is that it takes a theory and gives you a good dramatic story to walk you through it. It essentially wins on two different accounts. Da Vinci Code Decoded doesn’t have the dramatic story but expands on the facts.
Yes, you can watch the DVD as it stands alone, but the film essentially is a part two to the book. At times it’s questioning some of the theories that Dan Brown brings up, other times it’s taking you deeper into the theories of the Da Vinci Code. The format of the DVD is pretty straightforward interviews with various experts walking you through questions such as: What exactly was Leonardo da Vinci trying to tell us in his coded paintings? Was Jesus married to Mary Magdalene? Who were the Knights Templar? In addition to about half a dozen other questions.
Overall, it’s a well produced documentary that is a must have for any Da Vinci Code fan.
