Mister Rogers' Neighborhood
We’ve come full circle. At one point Mister Rogers was king, but was overthrown by the likes of purple dinosaurs and inane videos which show toys dancing in front of music, called Baby Einstein. Now Mister Rogers is back. Although he’s recently passed, Mister McFeeley has taken up some narration duties and he’s revamped the shows on DVD.
Basically they take two episodes and then add in extra features which go along right with it. Friendship has a short tour of the Teddy Bear Factory. In addition they have the games and recipes and activities. Even the most inept of parents can handle this.
I needed this blunt reminder to tell me that Mister Rogers really knew what he was doing. Now he’s come into the 21st century with a blast. Plus the
one DVD comes wrapped up in a cute little sweater too!
