Bo, an 11-year-old girl, shares the summer that changed her life forever. The story of a family who literally lives in the middle of nowhere, they live peacefully lon their own until the father sinks into a depression that puts a damper on the whole family. Things seem to be heading for the worst when a young IRS agent comes to audit them.
A bee sting and an allergic reaction send the agent and the whole family into a spiral of life changing events. A girl who dreams of distant places and exciting adventures, a mother that would do anything to get her husband out of a paralyzing depression, a best friend who's life is Bo's family, and an IRS agent who doesn't know who he is or where he really came from make this an unforgettable and strangely captivating movie.
