Ice Age: The Meltdown

This movie wasn't as good as the first one, but I still enjoyed it. Manny, Diego, and Sid are back in this sequel, and so is that adorable little squirrel.

The ice starts melting, so all of the animals have to travel to this boat, otherwise known as Noah's Ark. Manny is a little depressed in this movie, because he is the only Mammoth.

As they are travelling to this boat, Manny meets another Mammoth (played by Queen Latifah). The only problem is, she thinks she is a Possom. She also has two Possom friends with her.

So Manny, Sid, and Diego try to convince her that she is not a Possom, and that she is a Mammoth, but she won't listen to them. Sid makes fun of her, saying that she has too many leaves missing from the tree.

These guys all have to make it to the boat before the water hits them. Of course, they have some obstacles to face before they can do that. Some mean sharks are trying to eat them. Also, some vultures are following them.

Queen Latifah does an amazing job in this animated cartoon. Seann William Scott also lends his voice in this movie. Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, and Ray Romano are all back.

I enjoy sequels if they have all of the characters and actors from the first one. Although this movie could have been a tad funnier, it was still an enjoyable film. I recommend that you watch it with your kids. You will laugh too.
