Rocky V
"Rocky V" is rated PG-13 while all the other films in the series are only rated PG. The more mature rating is ironic, as a major character in "Rocky V" is Rocky’s young son, and the film follows Rocky Junior’s adventures at his school. His son is dealing with a bully, and he seeks advice from his father on how to deal with it. Unfortunately, Rocky is too occupied with Tommy Gunn, a young, up-and-coming boxer that asks Rocky to manage him. As the film progresses, Rocky learns who he can trust, and learns that even in his retirement, he can stand up for what is right.
"Rocky V" is the least popular film in the series, probably because it is so different thematically from the other films. More than a decade and a half would pass between "Rocky V" and the sixth and final installment of the series. As a result, the film was, for a long time, viewed as the finale to the series. In my opinion, the fifth film was fun to watch, but only necessary for people who just couldn’t get enough of the first four films.
