Rush Hour 3

The hillarious duo is back.

In the months leading up to "Rush Hour 3," Brett Ratner appeared on the HBO series, "Entourage," and the FOX reality show, "On the Lot." The bar was set very high for the latest adventure for Detectives Lee and Carter (Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker).

Ratner delivered. "Rush Hour 3" is a comedic delight. I went to a Midnight showing the night it came out, and the theater was like a party in a big college lounge. Everyone was laughing for ninety minutes straight.

In addition to Tucker and Chan's hilarious interactions, the film has more complex action sequences and stunts than either of its predecessors. Some characters from the original "Rush Hour" are brought back, but the film avoids getting too mushy about the relationships to stop being funny. To put it simply, Brett Ratner proved that sequels to films don't have to be held to a lower standard than their originals. If you want a few good laughs, see this film.
