Say Anything
Fall in love with Lloyd Dobler.
"Say Anything," one of the classic love stories of the 1980s film era, is sure to spark warmth in any audience that views it.
Lloyd Dobler (John Cusack) is not your average guy. His personality alone makes him one of the most optimistic, inspiring and spontaneous people that Diane Court (lone Skye) has ever met. Perhaps this is exactly the reason that Miss Popularity herself ends up falling in love with him in the summer after graduation. However, Diane plans to travel to England in the fall for College. And what’s worse is that her loving but crooked father (John Mahoney) does not approve of Diane’s relationship with the wannabe kick boxer who has no future plans or goals of any sort. However, through their search for solutions to these problems, they come to realize that every great success story began with someone arguing that it would never happen. And love might just be the greatest success that either one of them has ever achieved.
With an amazing cast, music that will move your soul (including the acclaimed song “Your Eyes”), and, of course, the famous scene with Lloyd holding a blaring radio over his head outside of Diane’s window, "Say Anything" is sure to encourage the limitless possibilities that lay before us in life and the remarkable power of love.
