The Emperor’s New Groove
Kuzco (voice played by David Spade) is a selfish Emperor that has only ever thought of himself, so it comes as no surprise when he unfolds his plans for Kuzcotopia, a water theme park that will demolish local villager Pacha’s (voice played by John Goodman) land and home. However, we soon realize that there are other forces at work in the jungle. The Emperor’s advisor Yzma, an ancient skinny woman with long fake eyelashes, a wig and broccoli in her teeth, is out to steal Kuzco’s job for herself. And let’s not forget about Kronk. Quite possibly the man that makes the movie, Kronk is Yzma’s assistant, but although he is supposed to be on the side of the villain, he seems to have a soft heart, and half a brain. However, his lack of common sense, plus his animated conscious and squirrel talking ability are enough to entertain audience members of all ages. And so this villain and her henchman set out to kill the Emperor.
Unfortunately Kronk mixes up the poison vile with one that turns Kuzco into a llama! Kuzco now must rely on the help of the peasant from which he was going to steal land in order to find a way to transform back into a human. Along his journey with Pacha, Kuzco discovers the meaning of true friendship and teamwork.
Just when you think that Disney could not get any more inventive, a movie like this comes along, completely blowing the audience members’ minds with thinking about the amount of creativity that it must have taken to create it. "The Emperor’s New Groove" is a new Disney movie encompassing old Disney values and themes of friendship, fun, good versus evil and, of course, the classic heartwarming and inspiring ending. Children and adults alike will fall in love with this fun adventure presenting the importance of family, fellowship and a theme song guy.
