Antitrust
Truth can be dangerous... trust can be deadly.
Released in 2001, “Antitrust” stars Ryan Phillippe and Rachel Leigh Cook. Phillippe plays the character of Milo Hoffman, a computer programmer who lands his dream job at a successful Portland-based company. Gary Winston is the CEO of the company NURV whose character is meant to resemble real-life Bill Gates. The company is about to complete the global communication’s system called Synapse. The only way they can complete the system by their announced launch date is with the help of Milo. He begins to become suspicious of the company once his best friend Teddy, a fellow computer programmer, is brutally beat to death. Milo begins to realize that nothing is as it seems and learns he can’t trust even the closest people in his life. Written by Howard Franklin and directed by Peter Howitt, the film is suspenseful, entertaining and keeps the audience guessing all the way to the exciting conclusion.
