Jeff Dunham is one of the premiere ventriloquists in the country. His characters include Peanut, Cranky Old Walter, and Jose Jalapeno...on a stick.
In this performance, Dunham shows us two new characters: Achmed the Dead Terrorist and Melvin the Superhero.
In a word...hilarious!! Dunham starts with twenty minutes of stand-up, sans puppets, and proves that he is a very funny person. He then proceeds to bring out his "friends," acknowledging to the audience that he knows they have come to see the real talent. And talent is what he shows.
This show is a real treat for people who enjoy comedy and ventriloquism, and you will find yourself laughing out loud.
The addition of Achmed the Dead Terrorist, who threatens the crowd with death, and Melvin the Superhero, who can stop a bullet!..only once, really round out Dunham's staple of fan favorites.
As a side note, check out the extras on the dvd, which shows you the evolution of Melvin, which Dunham builds in his own garage.
