In China They Eat Dogs
This action movie comes all the way from Denmark. Boring bank clerk Arvid knocks out a bank robber with a squash racket, which later results in Arvid getting beat up by the robber's "girlfriend," who claims they needed the money so she could get artificially inseminated. So Arvid visits his criminal brother Harald to plan a heist to get the woman some money. And the hilarity ensues!
Car chases, explosions, gun-fights, and the interweaving of sub-plots make this a very good movie. You will have to watch this with the subtitles. Don't let the bar scenes where an American is telling Arvid's story to a bartender fool you, because that's about the only English you will hear. But it's still well worth watching, fast-paced and well-constructed, with the appropriate amount of dialog to slow things down as necessary. Go out and find a place to rent it, you will surely enjoy it.
