Killer Klowns from Outer Space
A young couple sees a flash of light in the sky land on the other side of the hill and go to find it. What they find is a circus tent. Upon further investigation, they realize the tent is actually a spaceship, and while the aliens may look like clowns, they certainly don't act like them. The bad news, nobody in town believes that the clowns are there to abduct the townspeople. Will the clowns take over the town, or will the people be able to stop them?
This is a fun movie that doesn't take itself seriously. The clown makeup is very well done and the special effects are very creative, especially in the ways the clowns use their "clowning abilities" to abduct people. Borderline camp with just the right amount of cheese, this "B" movie actually ranks a "B+." And did I mention John Vernon plays a cranky old cop? Classic.
