Saving Silverman

A side splitter from the director of “Big Daddy.”

Saving Silverman is a comedy from the director of Big Daddy, starring Jason Biggs, Jack Black and Amanda Peet. This is one of those comedies that comes along every year or so, along the same lines as Super Troopers and American Pie.

Darren Silverman (Jason Biggs) and his friends, J.D. (Jack Black) and Wayne Lefessier (Steve Zahn), have their very own cover band for the great Neil Diamond and have seen many of his concerts. They’re the greatest of friends until Darren starts dating Judith (Amanda Peet) who is crazy and basically splits up the group.

This movie is full of hilarious scenes that will keep you laughing through the whole movie. Its crazy antics are prevalent all the way through the movie as well as things you would never even think of.

J.D. and Wayne decide to kidnap Judith when they are told that the two are going to marry to get their friend out of her cold-hearted grasp. But, will this really help them recover their long lost friend, or will he mess up his chance at a girl who really does like him when he goes on a date with Sandy Perkus (Amanda Detmer), his high school love.
