Boogiepop and Others

A spirit named Boogiepop is claiming victims' souls.

Girls are disappearing around Shinyo Academy, coinciding with the appearance of Boogiepop, a shinigami (spirit of death) that is claiming missing girls' souls.

Horribly disjointed and confusing, the very first five minutes of this film has over a half dozen unconnected scenes. The movie is very hard to follow, with flash-forwards in time in which the characters look and act the same.

This is the very first time I have ever just shut a movie off. I couldn't make it past the first hour, no matter how hard I tried.

This is Japanese horror at it's most boring, and not at all worth watching.
