During most of the film, audience members are supposed to be getting inside the head of Anna, a woman whose only wish before she dies of cancer is to put evil humans to justice. Her motives were obvious, as explained by the writers of the film, but I could not help but be distracted by actress Kristine Blackport's awkward facial gazes and disappointing expressions of the conflict within.
We learn throughout the film that Anna only has a few months left to live. With this time, her personality is changing, bad headaches and seizures are ensuing, and relationships with friends weaken by her attitude. If we are supposed to see the pain of a cancer ridden young woman, I have failed to see true suffering.
This woman has a horrible past involving murder and strife on her loved ones, and she believes that putting every rapist to death is her duty. With work, casual dating, sickness, and her situation of tracking down and killing guilty criminals, I want more push and pull in this actress's performance, not just hardly believable plain looks of dizziness and confusion.
Overall, the film had a semi-interesting plot, but will not go on my list of Top 25 favorite thriller films. I also have to mention the cheesy soundtrack that irked me constantly throughout the movie.
