This Indi/Romance flick follows around a college graduate played by Joshua Jackson visiting abroad Spain. Just like many films portraying Americans visiting Europe, it constantly makes you wish you were there with the characters. The scenery is beautiful, the traditions and stories told by a beautiful Spanish woman he meets are fascinating, and the running of the bulls seems very real throughout the entire film.
The young man is traveling with a friend and the friend’s girlfriend. The three of them go out to Spanish bars and restaurants and the two men partake in the running with the bulls tradition. When they meet a beautiful, typical Spanish woman, she takes them to her country home to stay for their last three nights. They ride bikes, fish, hike, and soak up the culture.
The story focuses on romance and soul searching in Jackson’s character. His poetry and drawings are written in his journal as he learns more about himself through his voyage along the beautiful countryside.
