Devil in the Flesh
A teen, who murders her grandmother, falls in love with her teacher and will do anything to win his heart.
If you like movies where bad and sexy girls who like to kill for what they want then the flick “Devil in the Flesh” may be the right choice. However, don’t get your hopes up because there isn’t much to the plot. This movie moves at a fast pace and there’s lots of eye candy to keep your interest.
Debbie Strand, played by Rose McGowan, was sent to live with her strict grandmother who has her on a very tight leash. This did not go well with Debbie. She couldn’t stand following her grandmother’s rules. Therefore, this left Debbie with only one option; to beat her to death with a cane. McGowan is the perfect choice for the role of the bad girl. She used to date Marilyn Manson which proves she has a bad girl deep down inside.
She will obviously do anything to get her way, including Peter Rinaldi, played by Alex McArthur, a schoolteacher she has her eye on. Some schoolgirls may have a crush on a teacher but Debbie may have taken it to the extreme. Once she finds out his girlfriend is out of town, she does anything to catch Mr. Rinaldi’s interest. With his rock hard body and sexy smile, he is the epitome of the ideal hot older man any student would dream about.
In the end, Debbie doesn’t exactly get what she wants, which is probably the first time this ever happened in her life. I like the fact that the movie didn’t have a happy ending. This proves that all romances do not end in fairy tales.
