Co-directed by John Lasseter and Joe Ranft, "Cars" tells the story of the famous speeding racecar named Lightning McQueen. When racing through Radiator Springs, McQueen damages the road and is forced to stay back and repair it. In order to fix it, he has to be determined to work hard. During the process, he finds friends, love, and creates special relationships with those native to the small town.

This film stars Owen Wilson as the voice of Lightning McQueen, Paul Newman as the voice of Doc Hudson, Bonnie Hunt as the voice of Sally Carrera, Larry the Cable Guy as the voice of Mater, Cheech Marin as the voice of Ramone, Tony Shalhoub as the voice of Luigi, and Guido Quaroni as the voice of Guido. Others featured in the film include Jenifer Lewis, Paul Dooley, Michael Wallis, and George Carlin.

More than anything, this film has energy. Owen Wilson gives a beautiful performance as Lightning McQueen. Wilson's on-target pacing will make you laugh from the beginning. He delivers his lines with surprise, making them even funnier.

This film is chock full of color, including its characters, its story, and its animation. While the animation might throw you off to think that this film is solely for kids, it is in fact fit for everyone. Even adults will find humor and entertainment in this lighthearted film.
