"Edward Scissorhands" tells the story of a young man named Edward, who has scissors for hands, who lives in a castle. The man who created Edward in this castle died before he could finish working on Edward's hands. Although he has this frightening physical characteristic, Edward is a gentle, delicate young man. However, because he always felt strange and like an outcast, he has always lived in this house all by his lonesome. That is until a young woman named Peg finds Edward and decides to invite him into her house. Everything is going well for Edward until he falls for wonderfully beautiful teenage girl.
This film stars Johnny Depp as Edward Scissorhands, Winona Ryder as Kim, Dianne Wiest as Peg, Anthony Michael Hall as Jim, Kathy Baker as Joyce, Robert Oliveri as Kevin, and Conchata Ferrell as Helen. Also featured throughout this film is Caroline Aaron, Dick Anthony Williams, O-Lan Jones, Vincent Price, and Alan Arkin.
