The Matrix Reloaded is the second film in the "Matrix" trilogy. Released in May of 2003, the Wachowski Brothers wrote and directed the film. The movie continues where the first left off.In this second installment, Neo (Keanu Reeves) wakes up six months after the nightmare he had of Trinity's (Carrie-Anne Moss) death. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) finds himself faced with the dilemma of Sentinels heading towards the city of Zion. Although he is ordered to return back to Zion, he disobeys the order to contact the Oracle. When Morpheus does return to Zion, he gives an encouraging speech that gives the people hope. Later on, Neo realizes that the Oracle is, in fact, a part of the Matrix. Agent Smith appears when the Oracle leaves and tells Neo how he's still alive in the Matrix which soon turns into a battle.

Neo must now undertake the mission of finding a Frenchman who has the ability to make keys that will open portals within the Matrix. Back in the real world, time is running out as the Zion ships prepare for the invasion of the machines. As the prophecy goes, the One needs to reach the source to have a chance to destroy the Matrix which will ultimately free humanity. However, the actual purpose of the One is to get to the Source in order to reset the Matrix back to the prime program. The film keeps its audience on the edge of their seats. It's a great action packed film that has a fulfilling ending.
