Be careful what you wish for!
In a loose adaptation of the 1967 film (starring Dudley Moore), Brendan Fraser plays Elliot Richards, the dorkiest guy in San Francisco. His co-workers avoid him and he is oblivious to his obsession--the lovely Alison (Frances O'Connor)--until someone happens to hear his wish that he would do anything to make her his. Enter the Devil, played by the sultry Elizabeth Hurley, who befriends Elliot and promises him the girl of his dreams through seven magical wishes--that is, in exchange for his soul! Desperate to get Allison, Elliot agrees and makes his wishes, but what happens to each one of them places him in one crazy situation after another. You'll be laughing as you watch the Devil show him the meaning of "be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it!"
