Mommy & Me Fun & Friends

Christopher, my one year old son, swayed back and forth and clapped his hands as the mommies on the "Mommy and Me" DVD sang, "If You’re Happy and You Know It." It is a fun, interactive DVD that incorporates basic concepts (open and close) and learning, through the use of children’s songs, such as "The Wheels on the Bus".

It was like attending a play and music program without the high cost involved. Christopher loved the music and seemed to enjoy watching the children on the DVD but he wasn’t too interested in the animated storytelling probably because it was directed towards an older age group. His attention was lost on some of the parts because the DVD tries to target such a vast age range (6 months to 5 years old).

I feel as though he may not be interested in watching this DVD over and over again because it tended to lose his interest in the sections that were not age appropriate. Otherwise it has a nice mix of music and we enjoyed watching it.
