Polar Express, The
Believe what's in your heart, and it'll stay with you forever.
Take the beloved Caldecott Medal children's book "The Polar Express" by Chris Van Allsburg, the impeccable and Academy Award winning talents of Tom Hanks and director Robert Zemeckis, and you've got an extraordinary and magic-filled movie for your Christmas holiday viewing.
The Polar Express will do more than amaze you; it'll have you feeling like you're a part of that wonderful experience, all the while remembering why this time of the year is so special and beautiful.
Each year, on Christmas Eve, The Polar Express offers a group of children, who have lost their faith in the spirit of Christmas, Santa Clause, and in themselves, the chance to regain that precious gift by boarding that mysterious and magical train to the North Pole. Once there, the children will be able to witness the first gift of Christmas being hand delivered by Santa, and his big take off into the wintry filled sky reindeer and all.
Tom Hanks, Eddie Deezen, Nona M. Gaye and Peter Scolari not only lent their voices, but also brought real physical movements to their characters, which enabled them to give more personality to them.
The Polar Express is a vision of extraordinary beauty and imagination. Between the innocence of its story-line, the achievement in animation and the feel-good music, The Polar Express left me feeling joyful.
What made watching this movie even more wonderful was seeing it with my dad. And when we left the theater, do you know what we saw? Snow, it was actually snowing! Now that's a magical experience I'll never forget!
The Polar Express is a holiday classic for anyone who believes in the true spirit of Christmas.
