Never Been Kissed
Josie Geller (Drew Barrymore) is an ordinary girl working for the
Chicago Sun Times. Her big break comes when she gets a chance to write her
first story as an undercover reporter.
The only problem is that she has to go back to high school undercover as a high school student. Unfortunately, this is a bad flashback to her dreaded past experience in high school where she was known as the queen of all geeks, "Josie Grossie."
The pressure builds with their jobs being at stake with this story. As most gossip always is about the popular group, Josie is forced to befriend them, despite her inability to be "cool." With a little help from her brother, Rob (David Arquette), her door is opened for her to be part of the "in crowd." The plot only gets better when Josie's English teacher, Mr. Coolson (Michael Vartan), starts showing interest in her.
Bam!! There's her story's headline: High School Teacher and Student Involved in an Affair.
It only looks so good, yet hurts so bad when she has feelings for him, too!
Now, with popularity and a new look, can she face the hardest job as a reporter by revealing a fiasco which would destroy any chances of getting her first kiss?
Watch it and find out.
A sweet and romantic comedy. Lots of laughs and empathy, you'll find yourself reminiscing those rough four years of awkwardness. And yet, you are glad your life was never that bad in high school.
This movie is just too
cute! I'd definitely recommend this for people of all ages, especially for a
"girls night out" movie.
