When orphan Calvin Cambridge (Bow Wow) finds sneakers with the initial M.J. written in them, he's got it made.
All he has to do is whisper the "magic" words, "I wanna be like Mike," and soon he is recruited to play for the Knights and finds a friend in Terry Reynolds (Morris Chestnut).
The movie does stereotype orphans, and the orphanages they live in. But all in all, it's good, family fun.
