Keith Urban

Keith Urban is a country music singer and songwriter born in New Zealand. He got his career started in Australia at an early age, releasing his debut album in 1991.

After moving to the United States, Urban eventually released a solo album and made his American debut with an album titled Keith Urban. The album went certified platinum and also contained his first American number one single. Urban made his breakthrough with his second album, which contained his hit “Somebody Like You” as well the Grammy award winning “You’ll Think of Me.” Urban’s third American album, Be Here, which he released in 2004, became his highest selling album. More than fifteen of his singles have reached U.S. country charts, fourteen of which have reached number one.

On June 25, 2006, Urban married Australian actress Nicole Kidman, and the couple now have two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Urban recently joined American Idol during its 12th season as a judge on the singing competition show.
