Rihanna

Robyn Fenty, mostly known as Rihanna, is a phenomenal singer. She was born in Barbados. Rihanna’s biography on imbd.com explains she was a normal teenager until a producer from New York was on vacation in Barbados and met her. The rest is history.
Rihanna has won a multitude of awards over her career. She won the best rap song/collaboration at the 2008 Grammy awards. Her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad, was the most successful album out of all of them. Overall, she has won 208 awards. Wow!
Rihanna was seen in The Playhouse Club in L.A. on Sept 17. The significance of this? Her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown was next door. They broke up after he allegedly hit Rihanna back in 2009. Three years have gone by and Brown had to do community service by cleaning up highways. He is due in court again soon for the accusations against him.
At the 2012 Video Music Awards (VMAs), Rihanna opened the award show with her new hit song, “Cockiness (Love it).” She has opened a few of the past VMAs with an explosion of her new songs, she definitely knows how to get the crowd involved with her concerts.
Despite Rihanna’s misfortunes, years have passed and she still rocks the house with her original songs. She seems to keep coming out with new songs and her fans are loving it.
