    Michael Mardings

    Assistant Editor
Michael traded the rainy climate of his home town London for smoggy Los Angeles, where he moved recently. He considers himself a rather "cosmopolitan fellow."

    Michelle Vaccaro

    Staff Writer
Michelle is a New York native who has been involved in a variety of aspects of the media including radio, television, marketing, and concert production. She started out as an audio/radio major in college and is currently working in the television industry at a national high-definition news station. She likes to keep her finger on the pulse of the entertainment industry and her ear out for the latest celebrity gossip.

    Janet Pope

    Travel Writer/ Book Reviewer/ Editor
Janet is not a jaded travel writer, but is still "amazed" by everything she sees. Perhaps that comes from years of teaching four year olds. Though a recent Long Islander, she still writes with the heart of a down to earth Brooklynite. Janet has a varied background in teaching, theater, and of course, writing. In her spare time, Janet works as a licensed New York State librarian, thus her love of reading and adventure. She has also done work for Fodor's Travel guides. On her travels, Janet's trusty researcher and photographer (and luggage schlepper), is her husband Donald, also an international travel writer.

    John Neal

Columnist John Neal is a Virginia native who picked up and moved to a small fishing port in Spain in 2005. He got his writing start while serving in the Marine Corps and has since been published in several newspapers and magazines. His column is called 'Eurovision.'

    Roxanna Bain

    Features Writer

With a varied background ranging from working with Soap Opera Stars, to creating and hosting radio shows, to developing children's projects, Roxanna now finds writing to be the real love of her life. Her latest passion is creating new Lifestyle/Reality television shows and she is looking forward to becoming a producer as soon as the networks share her vision. In the meantime, she enjoys writing about existing television shows and stars; and is proud to display her work among the talented writers at TheCelebrityCafe.com. Her goal is to someday cruise the world and become a travel writer for exotic resorts.

    Maria Spanadoris

    Music Editor
Maria prides herself on being your typical "girl next door," hailing originally from Helena, Arkansas. She isn't thrilled with the notoriety Dominick's recent book brought the place, though. She has written for countless publications around the world prior to joining our staff, and we are glad to have her aboard.

    Joyce Faulkner

    Features Writer
Joyce Faulkner is a Pittsburgh based freelance writer and the author of "Losing Patience" a collection of short fiction currently available on Amazon. Her column is called 'The Weekly Shriek'.

    J. M. Cornwell

    J. M. Cornwell is a nationally syndicated freelance journalist, editor, award winning author and licensed Extra amateur radio operator living and working in the Colorado Rockies amidst books, electronics and ghosts.

    Sari Nicole Kent

    Staff Writer
Sari Nicole Kent grew up in California but is well traveled also having lived in New York, New Jersey and Maryland. At 25 years old, she recently graduated from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland with a degree in Journalism/New Media. From growing up in California, she got the Hollywood bug early and decided writing about celebrities and the "industry" for publications like Variety and Hollywood Reporter would be just one of her many journalism goals. She is currently deciding whether or not to pursue graduate school for film/television writing besides writing CD reviews, bios and features for TheCelebrityCafe.com and its affiliates.

    Donald Miserandino

    Travel Writer/ Photographer/ Product Reviewer
Donald likes to say that his writing, editing and photography career first began as editor of his college yearbook( many years ago.). But his love of learning and discovery has been a lifelong pursuit. Recently, the highlight of his travels, without a doubt, are his trips to Malaysia and Switzerland. He will gladly show anyone who asks, all of the 900+ photos that he took at each location.

Donald likes to travel with his wife Janet, since she usually takes better notes.

    Ann Walsh

Features/Editor Ann Walsh was born in Halifax, Canada, and grew up on Long Island in the small town of Bayport. She held various positions, including working as a personal assistant to Christie Brinkley and managing the household staff for her and then-husband Billy Joel. Ann had frequent interaction with well known celebrities. Ann is a self-described media and news junkie, enjoys event planning and in her next life will be a co-anchor on The Today Show or Live with Regis and Ann.

    Tracy Mazur

    Features/Editor
Tracy Mazur is a Pittsburgh area native, a legal assistant, and a self-confessed karaoke addict who spends her spare time paying overdue library book fines, writing, and planning her next trip to the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. She credits her sense of humor to her three teenagers, and has no expertise whatsoever to offer in this area. She is a contributing writer for features, book and movie reviews, as well as a trivia editor at www.thecelebritycafe.com, and a copy editor/writer for our new travel site, www.trekkertime.com.

    Jessica Boettger

    Features/Editor
Jessica is a native of northern Minnesota, where 30 degrees Fahrenheit is T-shirt and jeans weather, and has it on good authority that her Minnesotan accent is adorable. Jessica recently completed a major in Rhetorical and Applied Writing from Saint Cloud State University. However, being something of a career student, she has somewhat randomly opted to pursue a Spanish degree rather than graduating. When she’s not writing reviews for TheCelebrityCafe.com, Jessica can be found scouring local thrift shops and used book stores for fresh fodder to feed her reading addiction. Jessica is also a self-professed movie guru, having worked at her town’s local cinemaplex for the greater part of her teenage years. Jessica spends her imaginary free time rollerblading, reading, and lying on beaches (yes, they have those in Minnesota).

    William Keogan

    Editor and Book Reviewer
Bill, a librarian at St. John's University and one of our resident academics, has written for magazines, newspapers and reference books. Although he loves to surf the Internet, Bill is hedging his bets by hoarding books in preparation for the next Dark Age. His favorite authors include David Lodge, Garrison Keillor, and Lawrence Block. Outside of working in libraries, editing and writing, Bill has no life and may be a figment of his wife's imagination.
