‘Once Upon a Time’ Best Kisses since Season 3

Jennifer Morrison, Colin O'Donoghue

A few years back, we celebrated the beginning of Once Upon a Time’s fourth season with a top 10 list of our favorite kisses. The list showcased the show’s main cannon couples, including Snow White and Prince Charming (Snowing), Rumpelstiltskin and Belle (Rumbelle), Captain Hook and Emma Swan (Captain Swan), and Robin Hood and Regina (Outlaw Queen). However, we also included a few kisses that were just too intense to ignore.

With Once Upon a Time now half way through its sixth season and Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we thought it would be a good time to review this staple of the show: true love’s kiss. Although, just as with the original list, we had to include a few extra entertaining smooches.

With this list, TheCelebrityCafe.com wishes all our fellow Oncers a very happy Valentine’s Day. We hope you enjoy both lists (there are no duplicates). Please share your thoughts in the comments section below, and let us know if you have a favorite on screen kiss that didn’t make either list. Using your input, we might just have to make another lovely lip locking list!

With the good, comes the bad.  The 2017 Screen Actors’ Guild Awards saw some winners and some losers, both in receiving those heavy statues and in fashion.

Some actors took risks with their fashion choices, which we always appreciate.  But, as we all know, some risks just do not always work out.  And, of course, we have to highlight those who had major misses on the red carpet.

Lion‘s Nicole Kidman had parrots on her bright green, sparkly dress.  Like on the shoulders, there were parrots.  Not real parrots (thank goodness), but still parrots!

Westworld‘s Thandie Newton had a ferris wheel and horses on her dress.  Why? No idea.  But that was not even the end of it. In addition to that, she had a shoulder piece that was futuristic and just seemed really uncomfortable and out of place.

The 2017 Screen Actors’ Guild Awards saw many amazing moments.  From Winona Ryder’s incredible faces during David Harbour’s passionate speech for Stranger Things to the many upsets such as Denzel Washington and Bryan Cranston taking home statues.

There was also great fashion.  The SAG Awards usually leaves more room for experimental outfits as it’s not quite the Oscars, yet not at all like the Teen Choice Awards.  And these women really stepped up to the plate in this sense.

Most winning women of the night looked phenomenal, including La La Land‘s Emma Stone in an Alexander McQueen gown and Fences‘s Viola Davis, who shined in a white Vivienne Westwood dress.

The TV stars of the night came to play as well.  Veep‘s Julia Louis-Dreyfus impressed in an elegant black gown while the youngest nominee of the night, Stranger Things‘s Millie Bobby Brown, 12, looked chic and age appropriate.

NCIS: Los Angeles aired the second part of their three part plot in finally bringing the mole storyline to a close. We got to see just some of the things that unfolded in order to bring us closer to who is targeting the team. After Kensi is kidnapped by someone who works for the mole, Deeks is able to convince Whiting to let him go so he can be with his team and rescue his love.

Meanwhile, Hetty goes rogue in order to run her own investigation and we find out surprising information about people who originally had been aids for the team. With the entire team trying to figure out just what was going on, we began to get snippets of who else was involved.

However, it is not over yet. The third part to the drama is set to air in three weeks so we will have to wait for the conclusion to the mole storyline. Until we know more, including how Kensi will be rescued, check out the top ten moments from “Under Siege.”

Note: This was the first episode to air since the passing of Miguel Ferrer, who played Assistant Director Owen Granger. Granger does have a brief appearance in the episode but we do not know his character’s fate as of yet.

10 ways to volunteer and give back to the community

Anyone can make a difference. Some might even say that everyone has a responsibility to try to make the world a better place. While it is possible to make it on our own, many need the benefit of help from others. Besides, giving feels good.

A Harvard Business School study claims that giving makes people happy and that happy people give to their community, “such that happiness and giving may operate in a positive feedback loop.”

Many charities advertise the need for a monetary donation, but not everyone who wants to give has the advantage of being able to give money. Luckily, donating time to your community is needed just as much, if not more in some cases. Whether you feel an obligation to make a positive impact on the world if you want to give back to your community or if giving simply makes you feel good, there are many different ways to volunteer.

Top 10 Oscar snubs of 2017

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced the 2017 Oscar Nominations on Jan. 24 and as always there were some surprises and some snubs.

La La Land scored 14 nominations, which tied the record for the most Oscar nominations for one film set by the movies All About Eve and Titanic, as reported by Variety.

La La Land receiving all of the recognition was not a surprise. But there were of course some shocking nominations that caught everyone off guard.

Mel Gibson, after some rough years in Hollywood, received a nomination for Best Director for his work on Hacksaw Ridge.  Viggo Mortensen was also a shocker for a Best Lead Actor nomination.  He was sure to be overlooked for his patriarch role in Captain Fantastic, but he earned a spot on the nominations list.

We are very happy for those who got nominated!  But we are also sad for those actors and movies that were not as lucky and got robbed of nominations.

Check out our list below to see which performers and movies were snubbed of Academy Award nods!

Top 10 essential things to do before you travel

Some people lead adventurous, nomadic lifestyles. They spend their days traveling the world and posting their activities on Instagram. These people often travel for free, relying on the trust of others and trading work for a place to sleep at night.

Others may prefer to stay in hostels where the rent is cheap and money can be spent on exploring the culture. Still others prefer to stay at lavish resorts or hotels and spend their vacation time relaxing in comfort. There are so many different styles to pick from when planning a vacation. But one thing remains in common for all of them: you’ve got to leave home.

For those who haven’t traveled a lot, the task of planning a vacation may seem overwhelming. While the actual planning part mostly depends on your personal preferences, I’ve broken down this article to include the top ten things everyone needs to do before they travel
