Pippa Middleton, 33, the younger sister of Catherine (Kate), Duchess of Cambridge, stole her sister’s spotlight on May 20 when she married her fiancé, millionaire financier James Matthews, 41, in an elegant, almost royal wedding at an ancient village church near Bucklebury.

Pippa arrived to the wedding with her father in a vintage 1951 Jaguar Mk V convertible shortly before heavy rainfall that lasted for the duration of the 45 minute ceremony.

Strict security was in place and the villagers were told not to speak with the press on the day of the wedding, according to the BBC.

The wedding was attended by royalty including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as well as Prince Harry. Also present was her brother, James Middleton, and her parents, Michael and Carole.

Pippa chose not to pick Kate as a bridesmaid in fear that she may upstage her on her big day, according to Daily Mail. The Duchess instead acted as an assistant by helping her sister with her wedding dress, a beautiful custom lace dress by British designer Giles Deacon. Deacon stated that he was “thrilled to work with Pippa on her wedding dress.”

Kate wore a light pink dress with a matching hat fashioned by designer Alexander McQueen.

The royal children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, played roles in the wedding as page boy and bridesmaid respectively. The adorable children grabbed media attention worldwide as they sported their gold and white outfits. Kate worried that her children would not behave during the ceremony, but to her pleasant surprise, they minded their manners and carried out their duties perfectly.

Eyes are now on Prince Harry for the next royal wedding, who is soon expected to propose to his American actress girlfriend, Meghan Markle.

There are more people coming out now and saying that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady did not have a concussion last season after his wife, Gisele Bündchen, said in an interview that he did.

The NFL and football fans everywhere were caught off guard earlier this week when Bündchen spoke on CBS This Morning and said that her husband, who is one of the game’s most famous stars, had a history of concussions and suffered one in 2016.

The league, which has come under fire many times in the past over this very subject, was quick to respond to Bündchen’s revelation with a statement that read in part, “We have reviewed all reports relating to Tom Brady from the unaffiliated neurotrauma consultants and certified athletic trainer spotters who worked at Patriots’ home and away 2016 season games as well as club injury reports that were sent to the league office. There are no records that indicate that Mr. Brady suffered a head injury or concussion, or exhibited or complained of concussion symptoms.”

And now, Brady’s own agent is saying that his client did not suffer a concussion last season.

“Tom was not diagnosed with a concussion last year,” Don Yee told ESPN on Friday. “Many of the protocols and safeguards still are evolving, and it’s obviously a good thing the organization and everyone close to him is vigilant and always looking out for his health.”

So if he never had a concussion then why would Gisele say that?

Well it’s important to remember that while she is not a doctor, we don’t know what kind of conversations the couple has had behind closed doors. Perhaps maybe Brady said something or did something that made her panic and think he did. We just don’t know because the Pats signal caller hasn’t made any public comments thus far about whether he did or not and he probably won’t, which means we may never know. But one thing that’s almost certain is that the league and fans alike will probably keep a more watchful eye on him now every time he takes a hit this season.

Ruby Rose drags Katy Perry over new song via social media

Ruby Rose threw a ton of shade at Katy Perry via social media to let the pop star know exactly how she feels about her new song “Swish Swish.”

Rose took to Twitter on Friday morning and went in hard on Perry.

“’Purposeful poop’ to ‘bomb a petit’ to a sloppy mess of writing over the top of Funkagenda..stop trying to make ‘Wit..I mean ‘fetch’ happen,” she wrote without spelling out the entire word “Witness” which is the name of Perry’s new album.

“Swish Swish” features Nicki Minaj and when one of the rapper’s fans wrote back, “Ok but dont bring nicki into this.” Rose said that Minaj’s part was the only part of the song that sounded good and called the rest a “mess.”

If you’re wondering where all this “bad blood” is coming from well that’ exactly it. Judging by the lyrics, many think that “Swish Swish” is Perry’s response to Swift’s hit “Bad Blood.” Rose is a super close with Swift and a faithful member of her squad, so we can’t be too surprised that she would blast Katy’s song.

But the Australian actress didn’t stop there and took a few more shots at the “Chained to a Rhythm” singer, even questioning her political activism.

Rose then said that she is simply doing what she always does and ended things with one final dig at Perry’s music.

A judge in Minnesota has ruled on who the official heirs of Prince’s massive estate will be.

More than a year after the musician’s death, ABC News noted that District Court Judge Kevin Eide ruled on Thursday, May 18, that the Purple Rain star’s estate, valued to be hundreds of millions of dollars, will go to his six siblings.

“The heirs of the estate are determined to be Omarr Baker, Alfred Jackson, Sharon Nelson, Norrine Nelson, John R. Nelson and Tyka Nelson,” Judge Eide wrote in the filing made public on Friday.

Appeals from others claiming heirship were rejected and they have since filed appeals. The assets of Prince’s estate will be distributed via a court order and will not affect the pending appeals.

Prince died at his Paisley Park home on April 21, 2016, leaving those in the music industry as well as his many fans shocked and saddened. The medical examiner later concluded that he died of an accidental opioid overdose.

At the time of the singer’s death he did not have a will.

Following his split from Lauren Bushnell, former Bachelor Ben Higgins has broken his silence about their breakup and said he’s having a difficult time with it.

Higgins spoke about it on his podcast with fellow Bachelor star Ashley Iaconetti saying, “It’s hard to say goodbye to somebody that you spent so much time with and it’s hard to say goodbye to somebody that you really did believe was the one for you.”

While he added that the heartbreak he’s experiencing is “still fresh,” he did admit that their breakup was inevitable and something they bith saw coming.

“I think, mutually, Lauren and I saw that life was getting more difficult,” the 29-year-old said. “I would say the joy that we felt toward our relationship at the beginning was — for some reason — slipping away and we were both working very hard to bring that joy back. And it just never seemed to get there. So, it was a long time coming, but it wasn’t necessarily like we dragged it out.”

As we reported, Higgins and Bushnell announced their breakup in a joint statement on Monday, May 15, which read: “It is with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to go our separate ways. We feel fortunate for the time we had together and will remain friends with much love and respect for one another. We wish nothing but the best for each other and ask for your support and understanding at this time.”

A bombshell lawsuit filed against Steve Harvey has accused the comedian of torture, child endangerment, kidnapping and “soul murdering” among other things.

The suit was filed by a woman named Essie Berry, who told TMZ that she is not an attorney but rather a “civil rights activist” for Harvey’s ex-wife, Mary L. Vaughn.

Court documents obtained by ET allege that while the Harvey and Vaughn were married between 1996 to 2005, Harvey subjected her to “prolonged torture with the infliction of severe mental pain and suffering.”

Those docs go on to claim that the talk show host “brainwashed” Vaughn and caused her “severe emotional distress” which led to “attempted suicide and self-medicating.”

She is suing him for alleged child endangerment, torture, kidnapping, breach of contract, conspiracy against rights, intentional infliction of emotional distress and “soul murdering.” Vaughn is seeking $60 million in damages.

Harvey has said that the accusations against him are not true and his lawyer, Brandon Williams, released the following statement.

“Mr. Harvey vehemently denies any allegations set forth in the lawsuit. The Complaint is meritless, frivolous and the allegations are completely false. We will vigorously defend/counterclaim against the Complaint.”

It hasn’t been a good two weeks for Harvey. Last Thursday, a harsh email of rules sent to The Steve Harvey Show staffers earlier this year began circulating on the internet. Harvey later admitted that he wrote the letter, but said he would not apologize for it making him the butt of many jokes via social media.

Chris Cornell’s wife says rocker wasn’t suicidal, family has own theory about his death

The music world suffered a great loss when Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell was found dead in his Detroit hotel room late Wednesday evening. The medical examiner later determined the cause of death to be suicide by hanging, but the rocker’s wife said her husband was not suicidal and his family has their own theory about his death.

People noted that Cornell’s widow, Vicky, does not believe that her husband intentionally took his own life. She said that he was a family man who loved their children and would not have hurt them by doing such a thing. She thinks him taking extra Ativan is to blame for the suicide.

“He flew home for Mother’s Day to spend time with our family. He flew out mid-day Wednesday, the day of the show, after spending time with the children,” Vicky said. “When we spoke before the show, we discussed plans for a vacation over Memorial Day and other things we wanted to do. When we spoke after the show, I noticed he was slurring his words; he was different. When he told me he may have taken an extra Ativan or two, I contacted security and asked that they check on him”

As we reported, Cornell was found on the bathroom floor with a band around his neck and pronounced dead at the scene. The U.S. National Library of Medicine notes on its website that rare but serious side effects of Lorazepam (Ativan) include confusion, unusual mood or behavior and thoughts of hurting yourself.

Kirk Pasich, attorney for the family, released a statement which read: “Without the results of toxicology tests, we do not know what was going on with Chris — or if any substances contributed to his demise. Chris, a recovering addict, had a prescription for Ativan and may have taken more Ativan than recommended dosages. The family believes that if Chris took his life, he did not know what he was doing and that drugs or other substances may have affected his actions.”

The man who was busted for trespassing on Kylie Jenner’s property may have been even more dangerous than the reality star thought as police now say he has confessed to murder.

TMZ reported that law enforcement officials in Anaheim, California, have said that Marvin Magallanes, 25, has turned himself in and confessed to killing a homeless man earlier this year. On top of that, police have also connected him to the murder of another homeless person in 2016.

Magallanes is the man who tried to crash his vehicle through the security gate at Jenner’s old Calabasas residence. E! News noted that he made a plea deal and was sentenced to 10 days in jail for that offense. Now though, after being booked on two counts of murder, he’s looking at much more time away.

As we reported, Cornell was found dead on the bathroom floor of his MGM Grand Detroit hotel room just before midnight after a friend went to check on him. The singer had a band wrapped around his neck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cornell was one of the biggest voices to come out of the Seattle-grunge scene in the ’90s with Soundgarden. The band did breakup for a bit in 1997, but reunited in 2012. The group was currently on its North American tour which was scheduled to end on May 27 in Oklahoma.

Soundgarden played for a sold-out crowd earlier on Wednesday evening at the Fox Theater in Detroit and Cornell posted about being in the city again. The tweet was his last.

‘The Daily Show’ under fire for Trump tweet, accused of transphobia

Someone posting on The Daily Show‘s Twitter account didn’t think a tweet about President Donald Trump through before they posted it and is now facing backlash for it.

The news satire program is of course supposed to get laughs out of its audience as should the show’s Twitter account.  However, on Wednesday, May 17, not too many people were laughing at one particular joke, in fact they were calling it transphobic.

In this time of breaking news out of Washington D.C. just about everyday, the show posed a question about predicting what news would come out the following day.

“What news will drop Thursday between 5 and 6pm?” the now-deleted tweet began, before listing four options. “A. Trump uses Constitution as KFC napkin   B. Comey drops a complete ‘visual album’   C. Ivanka requests immunity   D. Donald Trump announces he is now Donna Trump.”

Right away you can guess where the joke fell flat.

Option “D” upset some social media users and to make matters worse it was tweeted on International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, so many in turn blasted the show for the tweet.
