Dedham Times

July 3, 2003
by Rita M. McCusker

If you enjoy reading movie reviews, there's a Dedhamite whose work you should check out.

Lynda Dale MacLean of Dedham writes movie and book reviews for an online entertainment magazine, www.TheCelebrityCafe.com.

I've been doing this for almost a year," MacLean said in a phone interview this week. "I love doing the work - this is something that has always interested me."

MacLean generally reviews movies of the past year or two - she has reveiwed the films "Bridget Jones's Diary" and "Four Weddings and a Funeral".

Currently a teacher at Kindercare in Westwood, MacLean previously worked with children at the Dedham VNA and the Italian home for Children in Boston. She said she enjoys poetry and children's stories, and has been able to nurture her love for writing by doing reviews.

Among the books MacLean has reviewed online are the children's book "Big Red Barn," by Margaret Wise Brown.

Founded in 1996, TheCelebrityCafe.com is "the longest running entertainment on the Internet." Visit it at www.TheCelebrityCafe.com.
