Songs selected from R&B singer Jill Scott's career discography get newly touched up and refreshed in a brand new summer music release.
Crates: Remix Fundamentals Volume 1 music series premieres, with the Jill Scott: Spring Summer Feeling,
featuring remixes of Scott's tracks by popular DJs, producers and re-mixers such as Ron Trent, Ca$e, Boogie, Mr, Mig, Jaymes Ball, and DJ Jazzy Jeff who produced Scott's Who Is Jill Scott? music debut. Standout tracks such as "A Long Walk" (Jazzy Jeff Redux), "Can't Explain" (The Ca$e Boogie Mix), "Come See Me" (The B-Sharp Clubin Mix), "Whatever" (The Mr. Mig Powerful Love Radio Edit), and "Spring Summer Feeling" (The Ron Trent Mix) showcase this new collection of Dance treatments, which fittingly complements Scott's smooth, soulful, and powerful vocal delivery over easy grooves. Other tracks "Bedda At Home" (The Rivera Mix), "Talk To Me" (The 314 Mix), "Slowly Surely" (The Teddy Vee Remix), "Golden" (B-Sharp Afro Centric Mix), "Brotha" (Inferno Mix), and "Love Rain" (The Key West Mix) complete the set. All tracks are from Scott's career music releases Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1, Beautifully Human: Words and Sounds Vol. 2, and The Real Thing: Words and Sounds Vol. 3.
Crates: Remix Fundamentals Volume 1 - Jill Scott: Spring Summer Feeling, besides breathing new life into Scott's music, makes this full introduction into Dance Music long overdue.
