Snagging a chance to show off a partnership with Chris Brown, the oldie but a goodie R&B Pop star has come back onto the scene making waves.

“Put It Down” not only has a heavy steady beat, it also has some super catchy hooks that will definitely make you remember Brandy’s name. You can definitely hear Brandy’s past with vocal training as the chorus showcases her ability to harmonize several times over.

We even get to see a sassy verse or two from her before Brown comes in with his usual catchy quirky cameo. Brown adds a different layer to this track that makes the song stand out from just another female hip-hop/R&B artist. Rapping entertaining phrases like “Sipping on that Brandy/ That liquor comes in handy,” and other lovable lyrical twists, Brown manages to highlight Brandy’s comeback while not falling to the wayside.
